Come enjoy some warm food and good company to keep those winter blues away. Join the rest of Shelby Township for a night of holiday fun at the annual Shelby Township’s Christmas Aglow. Shelby Township’s Christmas Aglow starts at 7 p.m. on Dec. 3 at the Shelby Township Hall, located on 52700 Van Dyke Ave.
There’s plenty of fun to be had at this festival of fun and treats. Listen to your favorite carols performed by the Eisenhower High School Choir. See an incredible performance by the Utica High School JV Dance Team.
Enjoy hot dogs, hot cocoa, and cookies compliments of the Shelby Township Lions Club at Santa’s Snack Shop. All snacks will be served by the Ice Cream & Custard Shop.
Fun attractions that you and your family can enjoy include a marshmallow roast, a ride on a horse-drawn carriage, and making holiday crafts at Chris Kringle’s Craft Castle.
Last, but certainly not least, visit jolly old Saint Nick after he lights the Christmas tree. Keep an eye out; you might just see a minion friend walking around too. If you can, please bring a non-perishable food item for the “Feed the Need” program and help someone else have a happy Christmas.
Please remember that event is located outdoors, so please dress appropriately. Bring your cameras and your child’s wish list to make the night one you’ll never forget. This event is hosted by Christian Financial Credit Union.
