The Senior Flea Market and Bake Sale will be happening once again this October, hosting some fantastic treasures at inexpensive prices. Delicious homemade sweets from cakes to cookies will also be sold. The annual Senior Center’s Flea Market and Bake Sale is on Oct. 29 and Oct.30 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Shelby Township Senior Center, located on 51670 Van Dyke Ave.
“We hold this event two times a year and it’s the biggest fundraiser for the senior center,” Senior Citizen Coordinator Amy Drake said. “We are very grateful for all of the help from our volunteers and donors.”
Vendors are asked to bring in clean flea-market items only. Clothing and shoes will not be accepted. If you have items you want to donate to the Flea Market before the event, the Senior Center will be happily accepting items Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Come show your support for the Senior Center and find some hidden gems at the market.
If you wish to donate baked goods, or you want to volunteer for the event, please contact the Shelby Township Senior Center at 586-739-7540.
