The 2016 Shelby Township Clean Up Day Event will be held on Saturday, April 30.  Registration is from 8:30 – 9:00 a.m. in the Lower Level Conference Room of the Municipal Offices at 52700 Van Dyke. The registration location is a new location from previous years. Pizza and beverages will be served from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. back at the Municipal Offices.

All residents are welcome, including walk-ins! We are hoping to see 800 volunteers this year, many from local organizations and businesses that are also part of the Adopt-A-Road program. The Adopt-A-Road program currently has 57 groups that clean designated roads on Clean Up Day each year, but there are still sections of roads available for adoption.

The Macomb County Department of Roads will install Adopt-A-Road signs at the beginning and ending of a group’s assignment to recognize its participation.

For more information about Clean Up Day or the Adopt-A-Road program, please visit the “Latest News” section of the Shelby Township Website,  watch Shelby TV, or contact the Clerk’s Office.

If you are driving in Shelby Township on April 30, please be courteous and exercise safety around the volunteers. Let’s keep Shelby clean and green!
